Facilitation Techniques

Are you and your students getting the most out of your teaching?
Spend a day with Glyn Thomas (Latrobe Uni) and Tony Carden (VOEA), exploring effective teaching techniques to use in your program so that students are not just “doing” activities or journeys. Discover ways to more effectively facilitate learning from the experience, helping students to extract and retain useful meaning that relates to their program’s aims. Improve your awareness of when that teachable moment is occurring in your program/class/journey and explore methods of managing those moments to increase the chance that meaningful learning will result.
