The Victorian Outdoor Education Association recently completed the first comprehensive review in 20 years of the Victorian education department’s “Guidelines for Outdoor & Adventure Activities”. The revised guidelines will be available online in early 2007 to support and inform schools in the planning and approval of outdoor education programs, camps, excursions and adventure activities.
Through this project the VOEA has developed a thorough understanding of the educational, legal and regulatory framework that schools must operate within in the delivery of educational experiences beyond the school grounds.
The 2007 Risk Management Seminar Series provides school leaders and decision makers with a unique opportunity to participate in the strategic examination of risk management in educational settings.
The VOEA invites you to participate in the 2007 Risk Management Seminar Series to further develop your understanding of your responsibilities as a school leader in this unique part of the curriculum.
