Safety Guidelines for Education Outdoors

The VOEA has been contracted by the DEECD to develop the Safety Guidelines for Education Outdoors.

Along with the DEECD's required and recommended processes for planning excursions, Guidelines are provided for a number of adventure activities. Guidelines for eleven adventure activities are now active on the DEECD Safety Guidelines for Education Outdoors website.

We would be grateful for your feedback on the following Draft Guidelines. They will be accessible here for a short period for the purpose of elicting public feedback. Please be aware that these guidelines are drafts only. They are not yet finally approved by either the Review Committee or the DEECD and will be subject to legal approval. You should not use the following Activity Guidelines for any current planning.
